Region 13 Virginia Trip

The crew from Region 13 Virginia, along with teachers from St, Marc-Trouin.
This is the reason we all work hard to establish relationships with the Haitians.

Thanks to a generous donor from Region 13-Virginia, a window in the new school building at St. Marc's
will be covered with this grill work, allowing air to flow freely while protecting
the contents in the room from being disturbed.
Jenks Hobson, rector of Trinity Church, Washington, VA celebrates Mass
with Pere Michaud in the temporary church building.
An improved road from Port-au-Prince to Trouin.
Gary Hays, the engineer and contractor for building the new school,
gives instructions to Pere Michaud and others about how to improve and complete the project.
Gary teaches the Haitians how to make the school resistant to damage
from hurricanes and earthquakes.
.The older students still meet in the temporary church until the school is completed.
Another class of students in the temporary classrooms set up in the church
until the school is completed.
These girls are wearing the uniforms made possible with donations from Haitian Hope.
All students are required to wear uniforms in Haiti.
Thanks to the group from Region 13-Virginia, we now have photos of the secondary school teachers.
Salien Wilner, seen here, is the principal of the school.
